Lou & Harry's History Timeline
For over a decade Lou & Harry's has been serving the East Lansing area and
Michigan State University. Below is a timeline of the Lou &
Harry's Corporation:
1991: Lou & Harry's opens its first store in East Lansing, the Lou &
Harry's Greek Grill. The store is located at 1139 East
Grand River Avenue, west of Hagadorn. The store serves
grill items menus such as gyros and burgers, along with salads
and sandwiches.
2000: In March, Lou &
Harry's opens its second store, the 5 Star Deli in downtown
East Lansing. The store is located at 245 Ann Street
across the street from the Marriott. The menu differs from the first
store by offering salads, soups and sandwiches. The
restaurant also serves a wide variety of coffees and hot
beverages.
2001: The
company celebrates it's 10th anniversary when Lou & Harry's
Greek Grill opens.
2003: In July, Lou &
Harry's opens it's third store, the LH Grille Room which is a
fine dining restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The restaurant is located at 235 Ann Street, next door to the 5
Star Deli. The menu includes many fine dining entrees.
2004: Lou & Harry's
begins offering liquor, beer and wine at both the 5 Star Deli and the LH Grille
room.
2005: Lou & Harry's
changes it's corporation name to LouHa Incorporated and is
looking to expand to new locations and begin franchising
restaurants.
2006: In March, Lou & Harry's makes
renovations to the Five Star Deli and the Grille Room, combining
the two restaurants into one single restaurant and changing the
name to Lou & Harry's Grill. The menu is standardized
throughout all the stores.
2006: In September, Lou & Harry's opens
its third location in the Frandor area. The store is
located at 1429 W. Saginaw Ste 150, just west of Coolidge Road.
The menu of the restaurant is identical to the other two
restaurants.
